Upon registering, you have the freedom to cross tracks and select the breakout sessions that interest you. When you register you will select which topic you would like to learn about during each breakout session. The finalized schedule for NKYC 2017 will be up soon, but while you wait check out last year’s schedule. We will have a number of sponsors and exhibitors for you to meet and connect with. Be sure to allow time for exploring their products, books, and ideas in the conference marketplace, as well as networking with conference presenters and attendees.

Can I get Continuing Education Credit for these sessions?
For Speech Therapists: The Learning Partners IACET CEU can be used for Certification Maintenance Hours (CMHs), AHSA will not upload your CEUs to the ASHA Registry you may still use the IACET CEU towards your certification maintenance requirement”

Where should I stay?
The conference hotel is the Hilton in Old Town Alexandria, located at 1767 King Street Old Town Alexandria, Virginia 22314. A block of rooms has been reserved for the conference for October 13th, 2017 – October 15th, 2017. The special room rate will be available until September 13th, 2017 or until the block is sold out, whichever comes first. You can make reservations here.
Can I take public transportation to the Conference?
If necessary, the Metro (Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority) operates a regional rail and bus system. The Nannie J Lee Recreation Center is located near bus stops that are serviced by the 10A, 10B, 10E, and Dash Bus 7 lines. The King Street Metro is the closest metro station which is about a 15 minute walk away. PLEASE NOTE that the Metro system is currently undergoing major enhancement. Trains and platforms are expected to be extremely crowded during peak periods and customers may experience extended delays.
Is parking available at the Conference?

The estimated cost of a taxi from the Ronald Reagan National Airport to the Hilton in Old Town Alexandria is $26.
Dulles International Airport is 32 miles from the Conference and accessible via the Metro Rail (Take the Dulles Airport Silver Line Express Bus to the Wiehle-Reston Metro Station. Take the silver line from there to Rosslyn then transfer to the blue line towards Franconia-Springfield until you reach King Street Metro).
